Congratulations to the winners of our Young Artist Competition! Please see our YAC Competition page for the full listing of winners. 

A huge thanks to all that helped to make our competition run so smoothly including our judges: Ann Bilderback, Katherine Woolsey, Javier Valerio; our accompanist: Ellen Bottorff; and our host: Margaret Marco.

UMKC bassoon professor, Marita Abner would like to invite everyone to a Master Class/Bassoon day with Leonard Hindell, bassoonist with the New York Philharmonic from 1972 - 2005.  It will take place at UMKC on Saturday, March 2, 2013.  Please see the entry on our Calendar page for more information.

We are now accepting applications for our Young Artist Competition.  Entries are due April 5, 2013 and Fees must be post marked April 6, 2013. 

Announcing the date for our Young Artist Competition. It will be held Saturday, April 20, 2013 at the University of Kansas. Entry form will be posted on our website closer to the competition. Please check out our rules and requirements on our Young Artist Competition page.

Congratulations to Eric Killen, the winner of our IDRS Student Sponsorship 2012.  Eric will be performing in a masterclass before bassoonist William Winstead this summer at IDRS Conference 2012.  MDRS is covering his entry to the conference for the entire week.
