2011 Double Reed Festival

Our next annual double reed festival will be hosted by Dr. Eric Stomberg and Dr. Margaret Marco at Kansas University on October 29, 2011. This year we will be hosting gest artists Benjamin Kamins, bassoon, Robert Stephenson, oboe, and Carlos Coelho oboe technician. Please consider making the trip to attend this tenth anniversary event.

Young Artist Competition

The results of the twenty-fourth MDRS Young Artist Competition are in. Many thanks to this year's hosts, Dr. Nora Lewis and Dr. Susan Gustavson Maxwell of Kansas State University and to our generous sponsors. The event was a great success.
