This site contains links to early music organizations, schools, festivals, artist agents and representation, labels, distributors, journals, magazines, shops, and music publishers.

 

Goldberg: The Early Music Portal

Goldberg Magazine has a web site containing links to many early music associations.  Also on their site is information on competitions, books, and subscription to the magazine.  The magazine is a Spanish publication, but available in English.

 

Classical Net

The early music portion of this site contains over 100 links to associations, festivals, and general sites.

Here is information, not only on early music in Chicago, but on composers, instruments, recordings and more.

This site seems to focus more on medieval music, but it has a lot of information including notes on certain composers.

A supplier of quality historical instruments, sheet music, and historical information on historical woodwind instruments.

 

Courtly Music Unlimited

This is largely a site for recorders, but contains a new section offering early woodwinds and has links for sheet music, workshops, accessories, and advice.

 

Dragon Early Music

This Australian site contains pictures of early instruments, and is a source of sheet music.  It features instrument makers Moeck, Mollenhauer, Paetzold, and Cranmore, some of whom make early double reeds.

 

Leslie Ross Instruments and Music

Historical bassoons from all eras and reed tools for making historically accurate reeds are found here. There is also some information on how to make the reeds for these instruments.
